Mark Murphy – Managing Director

Mark Murphy has experience extending over 40 years in the Construction Industry specialising in Remedial Building, Heritage Refurbishment, Asbestos and Hazardous Materials Removal, Re-roofing and Engineered Access

Under Mark’s leadership, Murphy’s Group places a critical emphasis on Work Health and Safety and Environmental protection. Mark prioritises company focus on safety, monitoring developments in legislation and work practices to ensure high levels of controls within the Group.  He continually stays abreast of industry standards for Quality Assurance and Workplace Health and Safety.

Understanding the market for remedial building and building repairs has led Mark to create further branches within the company to provide these services.  Murphy’s Construction Group and linked companies have the ability to provide for needs in all areas of remedial building and Heritage restoration work.

Mark has recognised the need for a greater emphasis on specialist access at heights and has created a division within Murphy’s Group to accommodate the growing need for engineered scaffold and height access solutions.

Marks role at Murphy’s is one of drive and enthusiasm, his position includes the responsibility for 25 direct employees and many long-term subcontractors.  He nurtures areas within the business such as communication, managing contracts, client relationships and is active managing key client’s projects.

Mark’s work in the Private and Government Sectors have covered maintenance management, multi-trade management, material supply management, logistics, industrial relations, strategic planning and responsive maintenance.

Dougal Faine – Project Manager

Dougal has over 13 years’ experience in the construction industry. Dougal started out as a bricklayer and completed his Certifacate IV Building .Dougal has spent a number of years as a site manager learning and has been a Project Manager at Muphys now for 4 Years Dougal is a Licensed Builder and holds the Company Licence for Murphys Group.Dougal has specialised in completing Internal fit-out projects,Remedial Façade Works Large Industrial Re roofs  involving hazardous substance removal work, including friable and non-friable asbestos Re Furbishment Projects

Dougal overseas all Projects at Murphys His hands-on experience from a humble bricklayer to a Project Manager allows Dougal  to have  attention to detail provides him with the knowledge and ability to monitor works to ensure high quality project finishes are delivered.

Dougal has a positive attitude to his projects and has developed excellent relations with clients, being willing to accommodate additional tasks and overcome new constraints when they arise.

The nature and complexity of works which Dougal has completed confirms his ability to deliver high quality on site works and communicate with site management and clients successfully.

Dougal is very customer service orinated by providing the service to exceed clients expectations

Matthew AllenMatthew Allen – Safety and Environment Coordinator

Matthew has over 8 years experience in the safety, quality and environmental aspects of the construction industry working on remedial building, asbestos removal and re-roofing projects for government and private sector clients. He has wide experience of creating and implementing safety policies, safety management plans, safe work methods and inspection plans in consultation with operational staff.

Peter Fehon – Business Manager

Peter is a qualified Charted Accountant CPA. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from the University of Technology, Sydney. Having graduated in 1977, Peter has over 30 Years experience in providing business management services to small, medium and large enterprises.
